On the heels of Operation Sindoor’s incredible success, the BJP will start an 11-day nationwide “Tiranga Yatra” on Tuesday. The Yatra is more than simply a political campaign; it is a sincere homage to the valor of our military and the steadfast leadership of the Modi administration. Waving the national flag with pride, party members and citizens alike will travel through towns and villages, sharing stories of courage and unity. The campaign is devised to celebrate a proud chapter in India’s unwavering determination that defined Operation Sindoor, and to remind ourselves that true strength comes from standing as one nation.
Speaking on this auspicious occasion, a prominent BJP leader shared that the party aims to bring people together, including citizens, veterans, youth, and respected voices from all walks of life, to mark India’s resolute stand against terror through Operation Sindoor. The campaign, which will run from May 13 to May 23, will showcase our military’s valor and strategic accomplishments in focusing on terrorist targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Party sources have clarified that the tone of the campaign will be deliberately non-political, aiming instead to unify the nation around a cause that has resonated deeply across all sections of society i.e. India’s firm stance against terror. The Tiranga Yatra, set to unfold across the country, will feature vibrant processions with participants proudly carrying the national flag. From students and veterans to artists and community leaders, the presence of prominent personalities will lend weight to the message of unity and pride.
The Tiranga Yatra will witness the active participation of top BJP leaders, including Union ministers Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, and party president J.P. Nadda, underscoring the campaign’s significance. Sources confirm that Union ministers and key organisational functionaries will join the nationwide effort to rally the public around India’s stand against terrorism. On Sunday, J.P. Nadda chaired a high-level discussion on the campaign’s roadmap, followed by a detailed strategy meeting on Monday with party general secretaries Tarun Chugh, Vinod Tawde, and Dushyant Gautam. Their goal is to ensure the campaign reaches every corner of the country with a strong, unifying message.
While there is no current retaliation from either side, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his address on Monday, firmly asserted that Operation Sindoor represents India’s clear and uncompromising policy against terrorism. He stated that any future attack on Indian soil would be met with a strong and appropriate response, without hesitation. Emphasising India’s resolve, the Prime Minister warned that the country will strike wherever the roots of terror emerge. He also made it unequivocally clear that India will not succumb to nuclear blackmail and will treat governments that support terrorism no differently from the terror outfits they shelter and empower.
