Meredith Sossman: Passionate About Healthcare for Everyone

Every great firm has a terrific team of leaders that strive to excite, inspire, and assist their outstanding people on a daily basis. If your organization lacks strong leaders, you may expect poor individual performance, low morale, a negative reputation in the industry, and a high rate of staff turnover. To ensure that your brand continues to grow with each passing year, you must strive to encourage your employees and assist them in developing both love and loyalty for the brand.

Consider bringing in outside talent to your leadership team if your company’s development is stagnating or you’re having trouble coming up with new ideas. According to a new study from the University of Missouri, recruiting outside CEOs revitalizes faltering organizations, and they implement different methods than CEOs promoted from inside. Having the right kind of experience can help you take your company to the next level. Leaders who have helped similar-sized businesses achieve significant growth, and know what works. They can recognize effective ideas and approaches from their prior ideas. As a result of their experience, you now have a benchmark of success for what your company can achieve. Organizations with top-quality leaders are considerably more likely to beat their competitors in key bottom-line indicators such as financial performance, product and service quality, employee engagement, and customer happiness. Have an excellent leader if you want your company to fall into that category.

If you ever wondered what it looks like to lead a company and take it to the absolute next level, then meet the leader Meredith Sossman and know the amazing things she has done.

Meredith Sossman has more than 20 years of experience in health care device legal defense, FDA regulatory consulting for early-stage medical device and pharmaceutical companies, and international legal experience in health-related risk management. Meredith holds a telehealth facilitator certification from Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.

“ It is critical in my work to provide excellent customer service and response. Illness and healthcare do not wait for technology. Technology benefits both the patient and the practitioner. Providing the greatest tools for both is critical to ensuring the future of improved health and dignity for everyone.”

She has led teams in non-profit and for-profit corporations through reorganizations that resulted in multi-million dollar sales increases and speak nationally on topics in corporate governance, sales & fundraising, and management best practices. Meredith’s strategic planning and oversight in execution have been praised by client organizations as “authentic, results-driven, and insightful. She has built a team from 8 full-time workers and $1 million in sales to over 100 full-time and part-time employees and over $15.9 million in sales each year (non-profit).

Meredith’s team at ‘Suquino’ has built a telehealth platform that better aligns wellness with care by bringing about a paradigm shift in healthcare delivery through its flagship Telehealth Information Bus- Saffron. Suquino in Sanskrit means free from suffering and living with happiness and joy.

Meredith adds “Suquino, Inc. is transforming telehealth with Saffron, our uniquely vendor-neutral, Machine Learning/AI platform. It integrates with third-party medical devices and software and thus enables holistic, remote care in real-time within a connected care ecosystem. All of this helps improve patient health, diagnosis speed, accuracy, and recovery.”

Saffron is vendor-neutral, HIPAA compliant, and secure. It provides a suite of biometric measurements (basic vitals, waveform, and imaging measurements) with real-time consultation. By processing large datasets, it helps physicians employ the right support to patients.

“Our team is driven by a commitment to assist doctors and providers in transforming healthcare to reach everyone with affordable, scalable, high-quality solutions.” shares Ms. Sossman.

She believes that healthcare delivery has changed over the years and adaptation is inevitable.

“ Insurance demands, prices, and a loss of focus on the patient/doctor connection have altered healthcare.”  Suquino’s Saffron allows providers the tools to create a holistic and personalized experience and assist every component of the healthcare system in realigning to patients and providers while satisfying payment systems.

Here’s what you can take from Meredith Sossman’s success story.

Most young entrepreneurs look up to Meredith because of her farsightedness, polite demeanor, and potential to advise and lead the organization while also developing an influential persona. She shares that she started her career as a private practice attorney and transitioned to sales/nonprofit giving and management.

“Those skill sets and the opportunity to spend over a year with a management coach changed my career. “ she says. I stopped trying to be what everyone expected from me. I learned to find the right team, to surround myself with great people, and to set large goals. Focusing on progress rather than fear of failure was a significant change point for me as a professional and a person.”

Many entrepreneurs are enthusiastic and determined, but they fail to achieve their goals.

In this era of cutthroat competition, renewing and recreating oneself is even more prominent where there is a new technology or idea shining from around the corner.  Meredith advises innovators to think big about huge challenges and conceive of even more creative methods to solve them in order to give an out-of-the-box solution.
