Experts in the field are needed who can ask the right questions, visualize the data that is needed, collect the data, and perform proper analysis on it. 1. Dr. R.L. Shankar

Dr. R.L. Shankar has spent more than ten years teaching MBA students, Ph.D. candidates, and working with executives in the fields of finance and analytics. He completed his BTech from IIT Madras, followed with an MS in computational finance from Carnegie Mellon University, a Ph.D. in Finance from EDHEC in Singapore. He has trained more than 2,000 people from prestigious companies. He has numerous research publications to his credit, and he most recently received a research award from the NSE and NYU Stern School of Business for his original study on low latency trading and asset price co-movement. He is among the top Data Science Professors in India. 

2. Prof. Bidyut Baran Chaudhuri

Professor B.B. Chaudhuri formerly served as the head of the Indian Statistical Institute’s Machine Vision and Pattern Recognition Unit. He holds a B.Tech. in Hardware, an M.Tech. in Correspondence, a Ph.D. from the IIT, Kanpur, and a post-doctoral degree from Queen’s University in the United Kingdom. Beside computer vision, he is doing in-depth research in Image Processing, Digital Document Processing, Optical Character Recognition, Ambiguity Analysis, Syntactic and Semantic Analysis in Bangla and other Indian Languages, and language processing, which includes the creation of lexicons, ambiguity analysis, and these analyses in other Indian languages as well.

3. Sunita Sarawagi 

Indian computer scientist Sunita Sarawagi is renowned for her work in databases, data mining, and machine learning, especially the application of language processing techniques to extract data structures from text. She holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley, an M.S. in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley, and a B.Tech in computer science from IIT, Kharagpur. She conducts research in the areas of domain adaptation and generalization, constant, reusable, human intervenable, and flexible learning, graphic models for selective node labeling in social media, and neural systems for sequence estimation with applications to dialog generation, translation, syntax checking, and time series projections, among others.

4. Dr. Mukkhopadhyay

Dr. Mukhopadhyay holds a Ph.D. from ISI and an MA in Economics from Delhi School of Economics. In addition, he holds the positions of distinguished professorial associate and adjunct professor at Victoria University in Australia and the University of Ulm in Germany, respectively. He is a professor and program director for the PGPBA program at the Great Lakes Institute of Management. His research interests span a variety of fields, including applied economics, survey development, game theory, econometrics, analytics, and derivatives, and financial risk management.

5. Balaraman Ravindran 

He is a professor in the Indian Institute of Technology Madras’ Department of Computing and Engineering and a Mindtree Faculty Fellow. At IIT Madras, he also serves as director of the Robert Bosch Center for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. His ebb and flow research piques the interest of those working in the more expansive field of machine learning, including data mining, social network analysis, and spatial flocking abstractions in reinforcement learning. His team’s work is organized to focus on comprehending interactions and drawing lessons from them.

6. Dr. Guarav Bansal

Dr. Gaurav Bansal is a professor of information systems management and statistics at the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. He formerly worked as a quality control executive for General Motors India and Daewoo Motors India. His main areas of interest in study are internet security, trust, and data mining. His work has been put forward for the International Seminar on Information Systems’ Best Paper Award. In addition to teaching, he serves on the editorial board of the Journal of the Midwest Association for Information Systems. That makes him one of the top Data Science Professors in India.

7. Anush Sankaran

Anush Sankaran works as a Senior Researcher with IBM Research AI. At IIT Bangalore, he had previously served as an adjunct professor. He is an IIIT Delhi Ph.D. researcher. His area of study specialization is the use of deep learning and AI in computer vision and language processing. He has made progress on several different initiatives including applied research and has real-world expertise in presenting machine training and deep learning-inspired solutions for common business problems.

8. Sriparna Saha

Sriparna works as a professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna in India’s department of computer science and engineering. She earned her M.Tech. and Ph.D. in software development from the Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata, India, in 2005 and 2011, respectively. She is the author of a book that was distributed by SpringerVerlag. She has written and co-written more than 120 papers that have been published in reputable journals and conferences, such as IEEE/ACM Transactions and core rated conferences.

9. Chandrashekar Ramanathan

Since 2007, Professor Chandrashekar Ramanathan has been a faculty member at IIIT-B. His main areas of interest are databases, application development, and software engineering. He has more than ten years of experience working in large MNCs developing complex application software. He currently focuses on programming and semi-structured databases. He has a keen interest in the study of data sciences, software design, learning technology, semi-structured databases, software development, enterprise content management, and knowledge management.

10. Dr Ramesh Babu

Dr. Babu, who has over 22 years of expertise within the IT sector, has held top leadership positions in numerous international organizations and been in charge of driving profitable growth for digital goods and data science. He leverages innovation to drive enterprise-wide aptitude and capacities projects in the fields of data science and analytics, developing skills, assessment and learning domain, applied studies, and consultancy. He has provided clients with solutions in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, banking, insurance, and financial services. He oversees data science and digital offerings at Manipal Prolearn and has 15 papers to his name, both domestically and abroad.
